A Wedding in Heaven

I spent the weekend in my idea of heaven - the Rocky Mountains! I was there attending the wedding of my nephew Patrick, and his new bride Tanis. Congratulations to you both!

These peaks are known as "The Three Sisters." They are so spectacular! Developers are in the midst of changing the landscape by creating communities in these mountains.

On one of the walks we went on. I am not sure if you can see, but down the river, a man is fishing in the pure, clean mountain river. Breath taking scenery!

This spot has a memorial to a woman who performed "many" weddings at the site. I could have stayed here for hours!

Nature at its best! So calm. So serene. So heavenly!

Welcome back and glad you had such a nice weekend!!

Myself, having done some travelling throughout different parts of the world, the Canadian Rockies still have to be one of my absolutely favourite places to visit!!

Have yourself a GROOVY day, and maybe I'll run into you sometime this week!!

With lots of love, Rosie XOXO :):)

  6. Shame on those developers! Who needs them. They surely cannot take away those magnificent peaks...

  7. What an awesome visit you had. I get to go to the wedding of my nephew this coming weekend. I don't think I'm going to have a lot of time to enjoy the view. But it will be fun to see freinds and family!

  10. thank goodness the peaks are too steep for a development. they look amazenly like the dolamites in northern Italy.... I am going to rectify the fact that I have seen more in S.America and Europe than in the USA - shame on me.

  13. Audrey I was at my niece's wedding on Saturday while you were at your nephews.

    He is very handsome.

I have to say I cannot believe they are going to let them build houses there. That is ridiculous.

    Love Renee xoxo
